Was so sad to hear about your mom Sunday evening when I went into nursing home & ask if she was still awake so I could go say hi. Your mom touch my heart in a way that is hard to describe. I continued to visit her in the new unit & many times was able to get her to eat & drink. Our new thing was to sing the beer barrel polka & dance (I would hold her hands & bounce up & down) she loved it. I continued to take our dog Wrigley in to see her & she just loved it. (Just took him in last Thursday). I can only imagine how much you will miss her but I believe in my heart she is smiling down on all of us. Thank you for sharing your mom with me, I will miss her. Keeping you all in my prayers during this difficult time.
