Dorothy M. Zirzow

Miss Dorothy M. Zirzow, 89, passed away 4:45 a.m. November 19, 2014 at Golden Living Center, La Porte, Indiana.

She was born May 30, 1925 in La Porte to Walter and Frieda (Bachmann) Zirzow, and she was a lifelong resident of La Porte County.

Dorothy was a secretary for La Porte County Council on Aging, and a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Circle #8.

She leaves behind a niece Pam Angeledes of La Porte, two nephews Bruce Zirzow, La Porte and Jeffrey Zirzow of Tijeras, New Mexico; a great nephew, Jason Unger; two great nieces, Dana Angeledes and Nichole Angeledes-Jones; and great great- nieces and nephews, Danielle, Bradley, Cody, Haylee and Abigail. 

 She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Rose Cain and brother Walter Zirzow.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2014, Essling Funeral Home, 1117 Indiana Avenue, LaPorte, Indiana, with funeral services at 1 p.m. following visitation.  Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, La Porte, Indiana.
