Anna K. (Baer) Bloos

Anna K. Bloos, 90 of LaPorte, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016.

Anna was born on January 1, 1926 in Germany to Kunigunda (Bredbauer) and Leonhard Baer.  She was the owner of Ann’s Aquariums in the 1970’s.

In 1949 Anna married Victor Bloos who preceded her in death in 1976. 

Anna leaves behind sisters, Irmgard (Hans) Winter of LaPorte, Indiana, Herta Weinfurtner of Germany, Gretel Tiefel of Germany; brothers, Leo (Erna) Baer of Germany, Helmut (Rosemary) Baer of Schererville, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Brothers, Hans Baer and Ernst Baer; and a niece, Herta Gee. 

Anna sold Arts and Crafts at shows.  She was a farmer in Hamlet, Indiana prior to moving to LaPorte.  Mostly she cherished her family, especially her great-great nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, ESSLING CHAPEL, 1117 Indiana Avenue, LaPorte, Indiana.

Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Door Village Cemetery.
