I very much enjoyed working with Margaret at both La Porte Hospital and for ProTem. She was a very good leader in both those roles. Rest in peace Margaret.

I worked for Margaret at ProTem for several years. She was a great mentor, very inspirational and funny. She will be missed.

I read in the local paper about your loss. I would like to express my deepest sympathies to the family. The loss of someone in death can be one of the most difficult times one will ever have to face. I have found comfort in the words at Psalms 46: 1 which reads ‘God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble’. May God comfort and sustain your family to get through not only this day, but many others to come (Isa 41:13). You can also find encouragement from the site: www.jw.org. Margaret was a vital, intelligent, pioneer in nursing. She was a pleasure to work with and know. She had many accomplishments in nursing. She obtained a BS in nursing in the days when it has HARD to get a degree in nursing when you started out from a 3 - years school. She served as a leader in nursing in the La Porte area. She created Pro Tem, Inc and it was the premier nursing agency for nurses in Porter, Lake and La Porte County. What a busy, productive life! Way to go Margaret!
