Dear Maria,

I had the pleasure of meeting your dad, and getting to know him while he was hospitalized in Bremen, at the same time as my mom. He was a kind and compassionate friend to my mom, and was always encouraging her, as best he could. We would sit at a table during visiting hours, where he would talk about you and his entire family. I knew he was originally from Kentucky, and that he proudly served our country in the military.

My sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Larry, really enjoyed visiting with him while he was in the nursing home, where they would talk and play cards. We were all very fond of him. I just recently learned of your dad's passing, and just wanted to reach out to tell you that we recognize how special he was.

I am very sorry for your loss. I hope you have many cherished memories to carry you through.

Sincerely,
Angel Konkey

My friends, my family, my colleagues and my father's caretakers as well as anyone who has had the pleasure to be part of his life. I thank you for all you all your kind words and support throughout this difficult time. On the eve of my final farewell to his spirit while I can, I truly want you to know how much your support and love has touched and meant to me and my family. I pray we can all find comfort in knowing he is with the lord and no longer in pain. He had a lot of bad days in the past few months and I feel he knew his time was coming much my surprise. Continued prayers go out to each and everyone of you for your strength when hardships come your way. Thank you, for being here and expressing your heartfelt love and the wonderful memories we all shall cherish with my father, John Morgan Anderson.

Uncle Morgan will be missed so much, my favorite memories of him was when I was very little and he came to visit us he would always take time out and play the guitar and sing to me. My favorite song I remember him singing was Share My World With You. He had the most bubbly sense of humor and could always make anyone laugh and he was always smiling. I will miss Uncle Morgan so much but our loss is heavens gain and I look forward to seeing him again someday.
Love & Prayers going up for all the family.

Marie, I had the greatest honor of taking care of your father for the past few months. He was truly was an amazing man. Working as a cna is a hard job, but your father put a smile on my face every single time I saw him. I was not there when he past but when I learned of his death it was a shock and I have been heart broken everyday since . For he was a friend, a fighter, a role model, and a great listener. I will truly miss him and he will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers go to you and your family at this most difficult time in your life.

Maria and Dennis, we love you all. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers now and the days to come. I sure loved your sweet daddy. And how I loved watching him play his guitar and sing. He is a champion. He fought a good fight and has found his rest. Take care.

My condolences to Morgan's family during this sad time. If the Lord left it up to us, we'd never choose to give them up. The Lord stepped in and said "Son, it is time you rested. You have fought a good fight and you have kept the faith. Come home, Son." Morgan and I go way back. He is my sister-in-law Clara's brother. I always thought highly of him and envied his musical talent. Rest in Peace, Morgan.

Dennis and Marie, your Dad was my Dad's (Dennis Anderson) best friend and Navy buddy. Though they lost contact with one another for many years, they were able to reconnect in the last 10 years. My Dad sure looked forward to those trips to Indiana to visit John. I'm sure that brought much joy to both of them. I know it did my Dad. May you sense the comfort of God, family, and friends during this difficult time.
