I got to laporte today and heard of Jack's passing from his friends at the family express. I was shocked. We all relayed several fond memories and everyone certainly thought he was a great guy who brightened the day of everyone he met.

Joan & I were very sorry to hear about Uncle Jack. We are sorry we couldn't be there with you in your time of sorrow but there were no flights available. I love all my cousins and wish I could be there with you ad you were with me during my loss. I got a CSX Railway hat to give to Uncle Jack when Paul and Kathy were in Florida. I also contacted Pam in Colorado and she asked my to send her sympathy. I tried to send a post earlier but didn't know if it went through. Our thoughts are with you and we love you all very much!!!!

Jack and I go back to 1980. We shared stories and info on steam engines and other railroad equipment. We went chasing and photograph many trains. We had many laughs. I will miss him dearly. R.I.P. Jack and will catch you on the next train. Rich.

Jim, Kathy, Johnny, Jackie, Tommy,Cindy, Pocky, and Chris,
I'm so sorry on the loss of your dad. Your parents were so much a part of our life as all of you were. I have so many memories of spending time at your house, the mandatory Saturday night mass, the Sunday visits by your dad. Your parents address and phone number is forever burnt into my brain. You are my family.
I'm sorry I can't be there for the services. I'm sending all my love and kind thoughts as you lay him to rest near your mom.
With love, Lori
