Doug and Peg, Thank you for thinking of us at this difficult time. Funny how fate some times plays a roll in bringing people together. I hope you both have many good days ahead. I look forward to seeing you both again soon. Thank you.

May God fill you with many blessings as you remember the wonderful life of "Mr. Shead'. He treated me so honorably and I really valued growing up with him as an extra parent. I can picture him now in the loving arms of the great Father in Heaven, as God listens to him about his rock picker and ball retriever inventions. I pray that God's Peace and Joy are with you.

Thank you Chris. His inventions were intended to make things better or easier to serve the needs of kids. Get the rocks off the infield or give you more opportunities to improve your free throws, it was what he loved to do. If my parents had ever considered adopting any of our friends, you were close to being first on that list. They both thought the world of you. Go figure. I think they liked Ike and George, too. Thank you again for those kind words.

Dear Ken & Debbie (& family),
I am very sorry for your loss. Joshua 1:9 and Psalm 23 have brought me comfort in times of sorrow so hopefully they will also be of some small comfort to you at this time of grief. We have the promise of being reunited with our loved ones in our heavenly home and the warmth of memories until that time comes. If there is anything I can do, please don't hesitate to ask. In sympathy, Karen Thompson

Ron and Judy, thank you so very much for thinking of my family at this time. He was a big fan of R.P. Bulldogs back in the day. We know he will have stories to tell when he gets to his final destination. Hopefully some of them will include those Friday night games. Thank you again. You're great friends.

Randy and Nancy, So nice of you to send condolences. Dad was a great man as well as quite a New Prairie fan. He and mom were in the stands when we were coaching together rooting for the Cougars. You may have heard them from time to time. Good to hear from you. Hope all is well.

My sincerest sympathy at the passing of your beloved father. There are a flood of memories that flood my mind as I reflect on his life. If any of you should find one of those snub nosed pick up trucks, and fill the back with kids, please get a picture!
Find peace in one another.

Thank you Jeff. It was great to be able to meet at the Little League field and do what kids should be able to do . . . play, have fun and grow up together. A lot of positives to that type of environment. Now about that team transport situation . . . Thanks again,

George (Mr. Shead),
Thank you for all you did for the kids (including me). Rest in peace. You earned it. My condolences to all the family. His death so close in time to Harry Tolman's reminds me how important dedicated people are to the development of our youth.

Thank you Bryan. Hudson Lake was a great place to grow up because of people like my dad. The ball park was one of many places we met to learn valuable life lessons and to play a game we all loved.
