Victor "Dennis" Zandanel

Victor “Dennis” Zandanel, 86, of LaPorte, passed away April 17, 2025, in LaPorte (Northwest Indiana) hospital.

He was born February 24 1939, in Donora, Pennsylvania son of the late Edward and Dena (Fontanelli) Zandanel.

Mr. Zandanel served in the United States Army and was a skilled tool and die pattern maker by trade. In addition to his parents,

Mr. Zandanel had been preceded in death by sisters, Delores "Dolly" Hines of LaPorte Indiana, Ida Nutting of LaPorte Indiana, and brother Edward (Sonny) Zandanel of Monessen, Pennsylvania.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years Dorothy Ann (Kovalak) Zandanel; children, Valerie Geisman (Dennis) of Indiana, Nicholas Edward Zandanel (Shannon) of Illinois; six grandchildren; a brother, Lee (Leo) Zandanel (Ann) of Florida; sister, Louise Bittenbring of Virginia; nephew, Brian Troth (Semper Fi) of LaPorte Indiana; and five grandchildren.

Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel of LaPorte Indiana is in charge of the arrangements.
