Tyson Daishon Lamonte "Ty" King (Tyson)'s Story

1973 - 2025

Tyson Daishon Lamonte "Ty" King (Tyson)'s Story1973 - 2025 Tyson Daishon Lamonte "Ty" King, 51, passed away at his home in Kewanna, Indiana, on the morning of February 1, 2025, due to a brain aneurysm.

Born on August 20, 1973, in Plymouth, Indiana, Tyson grew up in Culver and graduated from Culver Community High School with the Class of 1991. He spent most of his life working in construction, both alongside family and through his own business. His dedication to his craft was evident in the hard work he put into every project.

Tyson had a vibrant personality and was known for his outgoing nature and willingness to lend a helping hand. No matter the situation, he had a way of making people smile and finding joy in even the simplest moments. He enjoyed watching football, cheering passionately for the Indianapolis Colts and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Beyond sports, he found fulfillment in his work and took pride in every structure he built. In his free time, he loved relaxing with family and listening to music—moments that brought him peace and connection with those closest to him.

He is survived by Brendan Sutton, Sienna King, Brandon King, John Thomas, Travis King, Marvin King, Tiffany Atobatele, Kimberly Sears, and Debby King, Lonnie King III, and Yolanda Watson.

He was preceded in death by Beverly Sears, Lonnie King, and Ronald King.
