Steven Mueller

Steven Mueller, 65 of La Porte, Indiana passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Steve was born on October 6, 1959, in South Bend, Indiana to the late Harold and Thelma (Dismore) Mueller.

Steve was a baker with Lewis Bakeries where he retired with over 40 years of service. Steve loved spending his free time with his family and friends, riding his Harley with no destination, just the open road. Everyone was family to Steve. He knew no strangers in his life and welcomed everyone with open loving arms. He enjoyed camping and nature and loved to be a helping hand. He loved taking his family and friends out in his boat every summer and always kept a smile, heart and sense of humor that will live in our hearts forever.

On March 4, 2006, Steve married Lisa Mueller who survives with sons, Dustin Mueller of La Porte, Ryan Mueller of La Porte, Aaron Esper of Plymouth, Indiana; grandchildren, Leylanie, Wren, Samya, and Willow; and siblings, Brenda Mueller and Robert Mueller.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the services.

Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.
