Sophie Marie Lott

Sophie Marie Lott, 22, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana passed away peacefully surrounded intimately by her family, on June 24, 2024.

Sophie was born August 28,2001 to Shane and Paula (Rood) Lott.

Sophie is survived by her parents Shane and Paula, her loving big brother Ryan, her maternal grandmother Jane Peterson of Boulder City, Nevada as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. She leaves behind her horses Bucky and Twister and her beloved cat Kane.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Bill and Sandie Lott whom she adored.

Sophie was diagnosed with Friedreichs Ataxia at age 8. Although it slowly took so much of her away physically, she built from that in every other way. She was a strong, confident, passionate young lady who loved music, animals, and shopping. She found a true calling in her job at Anam Cara stables last year. Everywhere Sophie went she was remembered. She had a genuine and unique shine about her and a beautiful smile.

Sophie will be gravely missed by all who knew her. Her presence will be eternally craved by her immediate family a beautiful soul gone too soon, may she walk and run with angels now helping to keep us strong.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 3-6pm at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
