Sharon Rose (Lempke) Daniels

Sharon Rose Daniels November 3, 1945 – December 13, 2025

Sharon Rose Daniels, 80, of Laporte IN. passed away peacefully on Saturday December 13, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Sharon was born on November 3, 1945 to Vernon and Frances Lempke (Ruff) in LaPorte IN.

Sharon graduated from LaPorte High School in 1964 and then attended Reese’s Business School.

Sharon married Tim Daniels on September 2 1966 and spent 59 wonderful years together. In 1971, Sharon and Tim adopted their son Craig (Barb) of Vilonia AR. and in 1975, adopted their daughter Tammy. In 2015,

Sharon retired after working 23 years as a secretary at LaPorte First United Methodist Church. Sharon spent her free time traveling, camping, and spending time with her loving husband. Sharon was a devoted wife and a caring mother.

Sharon was predeceased by her parents and her older brother Owen (Betty). She is survived by her husband Tim, son Craig (Barbara), daughter Tammy, sisters Janet, Irene, Jean, Ruth and brother Lloyd and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held January 3, 2026 at 10:00AM at LaPorte First United Methodist Church, 1225 Michigan Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte.

In lieu of flowers, that family asks that donations be made to LaPorte First United Methodist Church, a church that Sharon supported throughout her dear life.
