Ruby (Wilson) McMahon

Ruby McMahon, 79, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

Ruby was born December 29, 1943, in Veedersburg, Indiana to the late Sherman and Ruby (Bentley) Wilson.

On November 13, 2006, Ruby married Patrick McMahon who preceded her in death on November 7, 2011. Ruby was a homemaker who loved quilting, gardening, and sewing with her group, the “Steady Stitchers”. She loved her cat, “Rosey”.

Surviving is a daughter, Julie (Alan) Childress of La Porte; sons, Stephen Lopez of Troy, Ohio, Mario (Jody) Lopez of Fish Lake, Indiana, Mike Lopez of La Porte; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; step children, Kenny Stephansen, Trina (Mike) Chambers, and Marvin Stephansen. She was preceded in death by siblings, Doug and Tom Wilson; and step children, Richard and April Stephansen.

Private burial will be at Salem Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
