Rosalee S. (Hildebrand) Ross

Rosalee S. Ross, 76, of Westville, Indiana passed away Friday, September 15, 2023. She was born on November 24, 1946, in La Porte to the late Harry G. and Mary Ruth (Smyers) Hildebrand. 

Rosalee had worked at the Gas Station on the corner of 6 & 39 and was a homemaker. She grew up in Union Mills, liked Polka Music, and was a devoted grandma and loving wife. 

On December 14, 1985, Rosalee married Ernest Ross who survives with a son, Bob Gurnaski; grandchildren, Crissy Brinson and Brooke Gurnaski; and a great grandchild, Peyton Brinson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Francis, Harry, and Wayne Hildebrand. 

Private family burial will take place at Union Mills Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte.
