Ronald H. Thalmann, 86, of Union Mills, Indiana passed away Monday, January 6, 2025.
Ronald was born June 1, 1938 in La Porte, Indiana to Leonard H. and Guelda (Mix) Thalmann.
On June 20, 1959, Ronald married Devona Doll who preceded him in death on January 17, 2017.
Ronald was a printer with Plimpton Press, a truck driver with La Porte Transit, a part time Farmer, and a school bus driver with South Central Schools. He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Union Mills, and the Teamsters Union. He was a volunteer with the Union Mills Volunteer Fire Department.
Ronald is survived by two daughters, Susan (Eugene) Bukowski of La Porte, Indiana and Mary (Allen) Borzabadi of Asheville, North Carolina; two granddaughters, Elizabeth (Roberto) Sanchez and Caroline Bukowski; and siblings, Joyce Cooper of Napolean, Ohio, Robert Thalmann of La Porte, Indiana, and Kerry (Duana) Thalmann of Eugene, Oregon.
Visitation will be from 4-7pm Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, January 10, 2025, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Hanna Cemetery, Hanna, Indiana.
