Robert H.C. "Tiny" Smith

Robert H.C. “Tiny” Smith, 40, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

Tiny was born July 28, 1981, in La Porte, Indiana to the late Robert and Kathleen (Leahy) Smith. He is survived by a son, Mason Alexander Smith; siblings, Susie (Jim Ritter) Masterson of La Porte, Tom (Becky) Masterson of Rolling Prairie, Bill Smith of La Porte; a sister-in-law, Lily Masterson of Rolling Prairie; nieces and nephews, Ashley, Michael S., Brett, Nichole, Katie, and Michael R.; four great nephews; Mason’s mother, Stephanie Watkins; and his half-brothers, Brayden and Zane.

Tiny was an excellent Quality Technician with Haynes International/La Porte Custom Medal Processing. He began his career in September of 2014. He was a great human being, and his presence will be missed by all his co-workers. He enjoyed working out at the gym and attending the Arnold Classic with friends. He graduated from South Central High School in 2000.

A Celebration of Life will be held form 1-5p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the American Legion Post 295, 710 Water Street, Union Mills, Indiana 46382.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte.
