Robert C. Hubert, Sr. 80 of La Porte, Indiana passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Robert was born on August 20, 1945 in Fall River, Massachusetts to the late Edward and Lorraine (Couture) Hubert, Sr.

Robert was self-employed providing Internet Marketing.

He is survived by his children, Sandy (Todd) Smith of Niles, Michigan, Nancy (Rick) Scarborough of Plymouth, Indiana, Robert (Melissa) Hubert, Jr. of Florence, Arizona, and Christopher Hubert of Plymouth, Indiana; an adpoted daughter, Gracie; grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Rita, James, Cassandra, Steven, Page, Isaac, Colleen, and Robert; 19 great grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond Hubert of Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Rita (Tappin) Hubert who died on April 1, 2006; his parents; and brothers, Edward, Normand, and Donald Hubert.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.

A Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. with Pastor James Snyder officiating.

Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family ℅ Essling Chapel.
