Raymond R. Williams

Raymond R. Williams, 92, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021.  He was born on December 21, 1928, to Russell and Irene (Adler) Williams.

Ray was the co-owner of the Del Ray Inn in La Porte.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, a lifetime member of the Michigan City American Legion, the La Porte VFW, and the Michigan City Disabled American Veterans.

Ray leaves behind a daughter, Julie Williams of Michigan City; a son, Jeffery Williams of La Porte; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Delphine H. (Moore) Williams on November 23, 2017; and sisters, Dorothy Mendenall and, Lorraine Rayls.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 Bach Street, La Porte, Indiana, where visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will be held at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Michigan City.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte.
