Przemek Kubas, affectionately known to all as Przemek, departed this life on July 9, 2025, in La Porte, Indiana, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness.
Born on April 10, 1996, in Poland, Przemek's life journey led him to touch the hearts of many with his endearing spirit and generous nature. Przemek was the cherished son of Piotr and Irena (Majka) Kubas of La Porte, and a beloved brother to Wojciech Kubas and Pawel (Agnieszka) Kubas, both residents of La Porte. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and the love they shared was evident to all who knew them. Przemek was graced with the wisdom and affection of his maternal grandmother, Kazimiera Majka, and his paternal grandfather, Edward Kubas, both of Poland. His uncle, Witold Majka, and aunt, Dorota Kubas, along with cousins Kamil and Adrian, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in La Porte and Poland, also survive him. Przemek's loving nature extended to his girlfriend, Megan Williams, and her children, Stryker, Mason, and River, who he embraced as his own family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Leslaw Majka, and his paternal grandmother, Maria Kubas, whose memories he held close to his heart.
Przemek's education was completed in high school, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Kubas Express, a transportation company that became a testament to his hard work and dedication. Prior to this, he was employed with IMW, Industrial Maintenance and Welding in Kingsbury, where he was respected for his skill and strong work ethic. Przemek's contributions to his work and community were deeply valued, and his loss will be felt by many.
A man of faith, Przemek lived his Christian beliefs through his actions, showing love and care to everyone around him. His membership in the Northwest Indiana Riders Motorcycle Club was a source of joy and camaraderie. Przemek's passion for motorcycles and cars was more than a hobby; it was a way for him to connect with others, share experiences, and create lasting memories.
Przemek's character was the epitome of kindness. To say he was selfless is an understatement; he lived for others, always putting their needs before his own. His loving nature was his hallmark, and those who were fortunate enough to experience it will forever treasure the warmth he brought into their lives. He was the kind of person who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he met, and his absence will be profoundly felt.
