Patrick Duane Riley

Patrick Duane Riley, 62, of La Porte, Indiana passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 13, 2021.  He was surrounded by his family.

Pat was born August 6, 1958, in La Porte, Indiana to Gerald and Mary Lou (Lewis) Riley.

On April 18,1981, Pat married Brenda Lidgard who survives.  Also surviving are their sons, Trevor Patrick (Maria) Riley of La Porte, Indiana, Conner Alex Riley of Long Beach, Indiana, and Alex Edward Riley of West Lafayette, Indiana; four grandchildren, Taylor, Kaylynn, Bailey, and Zeta; and four sisters, Deborah (Roger) Pruden of La Porte, Indiana, Lori (David) Swanson of La Porte, Indiana, Melody (Willie) Smutzer of La Porte, Indiana, and Shari (Doug) Gardner of La Porte, Indiana.

Pat graduated from La Porte High School in 1977.  He worked as a Pressman for many years here in La Porte and in San Diego, California.

Pat loved his family and close friends and was always there to help anyone in need.  He loved cooking, music, concerts, and guitars.  He loved to make people laugh even on his roughest days.  He was the best husband, father, papa, and friend anyone could ask for and will be dearly missed.

He and the family were blessed prior to his passing, and per Pat’s request there will be no service.  Cremation has taken place.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
