Pamela Sue Angeledes (Cain) was born on January 3, 1960 in La Porte, Indiana. Her loving parents Edgar and Rose Cain of La Porte, welcomed her with open arms and outpouring love.
Pam lived a blessed, adventurous, loving 64 years. She was called home July 8, 2024 at Hamilton Grove, New Carlisle, Indiana.
Pam was the sweetest soul one could ever meet. She was a loving mother, grandmother (Nannie/Nana), great grandmother, and truly a one-of-a-kind friend to so many. Pam welcomed three blessings into her life, her children, Jason Unger of La Porte, Dana Angeledes of La Porte, and Nichole Jones (Adam Jones) of La Porte. Being a mother was Pam’s true passion in life. Raising her children to be the strong, independent, loving adults that they are today, was one of Pam’s greatest accomplishments.
Pam was blessed with six grandchildren, Damielle Unger, Bradley Unger, Cody Unger, Haylee Unger, Abigail Kuta, and MaKenzyi Jones. As well, she was blessed with four great-grandchildren. Pam’s heart and soul was as loving as they come.
Her warm heart greeted so many for years at her former employer JJ’s Liquor Store, of La Porte.
Among many wonderful people that she called “friends”, she was blessed with some lifelong ones. Teri Bilderback-Stockstill, Michelle Towle (Bernice), Daniel Arthur, Lora Logan, the late, Sherri Pennington and the late John Becker, among so many others. The fond memories will last forever in our hearts as we all were the blessed ones with knowing Pam.
Music, Pam’s love and passion for music was never a secret. From classic rock and roll played on vinyl records, to country, to current pop, Pam knew and loved it all. Often hearing the words, “who sings it” would always be a short saying from her. She paired her love of music with playing cards, Euchre was her top pick. Pam’s passing is a loss to so many people, however, Pam would want us to be reminded that she is with her savior. Our heavenly father.
Pam would want our tears to turn to smiles and laughter as we would share all the fond memories of her blessed life. Pam has shared 64 wonderful, beautiful, adventurous-filled years with us. Although we feel her time was cut short, Pam lived one hell of a good life. So remember, Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear.
