Mildred V. (Martin) Aumiller

Mildred V. Aumiller, 97, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023. She was born on July 31, 1925, in Chicago to the late Edward and Veronica (Cichy) Martin. Mildred retired from Scott Foreman after 16 years as a quality control clerk, and had previously worked at Wirecraft and the Ove Gnatt Company. She was a volunteer with the former La Porte Hospital Auxiliary for 22 years. She loved her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren, crocheting, reading, traveling, and was an avid Chicago White Sox fan.

On January 8, 1949, in La Porte she married Loren M. Aumiller who preceded her in death on July 8, 1992. Surviving are her sons, David and Michael Aumiller of La Porte; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Robert Aumiller, a sister, Eleanor Barden, and a brother, Richard Martin.

A private burial will take place at Pine Lake Cemetery.
