Michael L. Kreighbaum

Michael L. Kreighbaum, 66, of Walkerton, Indiana passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019.

Michael was born March 5, 1953 in La Porte County to Leroy Kreighbaum and Barbara (Meeks) Stifle.

On September 1, 1973 Michael married Linda Dove who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Patricia (Kevin) Weathers of La Porte, Indiana and Michelle (Robert) Noveroske of La Porte, Indiana; two sons, Brian (Christine) Kreighbaum of Lafayette, Indiana and Glenn Kreighbaum of Laguna Hills, California; four grandchildren, Katelynn (Bayron) Guzman, Kayla (Kharson) Nurnberg, Emily Kreighbaum and Abbi Kreighbaum; a great-granddaughter, Adelyn Guzman; two sisters, Susan (Wayne) Freeman of Portage, Indiana, Kathy (Bryan) Brownlee of Michigan City, Indiana, a sister-in-law, Laurie Kreighbaum; and a brother, John Kreighbaum of Dowagic, Michigan.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Stanley Kreighbaum.

Michael retired in 2005 from Accurate Castings where he was a foundry worker for over 20 years.  He served his county in the United States Army.  He also liked to race cars in South Bend, do woodworking, spend time with his children and grandchildren and his dogs. 

Visitation will be from 10-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.

Funeral services will immediately follow at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.  Pastor Roger Ash will officiate.
