Mary Joan Wineholt

Mary Joan Wineholt  81, of Elkhart, Indiana.

Mary Jo was born on January 23, 1942, in Kingsbury, Indiana to Olyn and Catherine (Travis) Wineholt. 

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Judith K. Bales and Sue Ellen Layton. Jo is survived by brothers-in-law, Ken (Rita) Layton and Berdell Bales; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Chuck) Smith, Jeff ( Laurie) Batchelor, Troy (Beth) Layton, Tracy Layton,  and Bryan ( Shawna) Batchelor; and numerous cousins.

Jo graduated in 1960, from Kingsbury High School. She studied physical education at Indiana University.  She was a United States Marine Honorably Discharged. She worked and retired from Adams & Westlake, LTD. (Adlake, Mfg). She enjoyed going to festivals, keeping her yard and flowers looking good, and could not wait to play a good game of Scrabble. 

Cremation has occurred and a private family service will be held at a later date. Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, La Porte, Indiana.
