Mary F. (Kobos) Kulasa, 91, Of Rolling Prairie, Indiana passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023. She was born on September 24, 1932, in Otis, Indiana to Michael and Helen (Witek) Kobos.
Mary was a homemaker, and was employed with the New Prairie School System as a lunch aid and formerly with Al's bakery. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church and the Rosary Sodality of the church. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved putting together puzzles.
On April 14, 1956, Mary married Paul Kulasa who preceded her in death on June 3, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Cecilia, Theresa, Angeline, Francis, and Stella; and brothers, Stanley, John, Casimer, and Michael Jr.
Mary is survived by her children, Christine Kulasa of LaPorte, Calvin Kulasa of Richland, Michigan, Joseph (Anne) Kulasa of La Porte, and Jayne (James) Karner of Pentwater, Michigan; and grandchildren, John Paul, Samuel Paul, and Jackson Martin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, November 10, 2023, at Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 202 Bach Street, La Porte, Indiana. Burial will follow at Rolling Prairie Cemetery. There will be no visitation prior to the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Food Pantry.
