Marjorie “Marge” A. Grace, 96, of La Porte, Indiana passed away on November 17, 2025.
Marge was born July 27, 1929 in Willoughby, Ohio. Marge was the daughter of Maynard and Zelda (Garretson) Shroyer who preceded her in death along with two brothers, Richard (Dorothy) and Ted (Nancy) Shroyer and one sister Virginia (John) Grace.
On May 22, 1948 she married Robert M. Grace who preceded her in death.
Marge worked as an executive secretary at Austenal, Allis Chalmers, La Porte Hospital and The La Porte County Medical Society.
She enjoyed playing bridge, golf, and bowling. Marge also enjoyed her winters in Florida.
Marge is survived by her children, Susan of La Porte, Dr. Robert (Cheryl) of La Porte, Steven (Wendy) of Vandalia, Michigan, and Terri (Lee Wainscott) of La Porte; grandchildren, Kristyn (Rob MacInnis), Erin (Gabe) D’Vincent, Ryan Grace, Jacob Eaton, and Taylor Grace; seven great-grandchildren; and two great great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Patrick, and a granddaughter, Anne Grace.
Marge will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A private family funeral was held on November 20, 2025 at Pine Lake Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte.
