Marcella Irene (Todhunter) Nielsen Lute

Marcella Irene (Todhunter) Nielsen Lute, 91, of Walkerton, Indiana passed away Friday, February 10, 2023. She was born on January 9, 1932, in Lancaster, Ohio to John Michael Todhunter and Goldie Irene Botts.

Marcella was a Registered Nurse. She retired from Bremen Community Hospital in 1995. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Robert Ellsworth Nielsen and Raymond E. Lute; daughter, Linda McGovern; She was the last survivor of five children. 

Surviving are her children, Rebecca Drumm of Three Rivers, Michigan, Robert (Vel) Nielsen of South Bend, Indiana, Valerie Williams of Mishawaka, Indiana, Dawn Nielsen of Mishawaka, Indiana, Heather Nielsen of Battle Ground, Indiana; 19 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren. 

Marcella spent her life serving others and enjoyed every bit of it. She asks that we all take care of each other, be forgiving, and pray often. Be happy for her. This life of 91 years has been a classroom. She has learned a great many things, witnessed many changes, and endured many tragedies. She graduated from this earth to live forever with God! Please be happy and celebrate with her. 

Cremation has taken place with Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte, Indiana.
