Lauretta Ann Hanson, 86, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020.
Lauretta was born March 29, 1934 in La Porte, Indiana to the late Aloysius and Augusta (Daniel) Breitenbach.
Lauretta was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was on the Altar Rosary Society, St. Margaret Circle, and St. Joseph-St. Vincent DePaul Society.
On May 15, 1965 in La Porte Lauretta married Kenneth D. Hanson who passed away March 13, 2013.
Lauretta is survived by several nieces and nephews, among them Joan, Rick and Jeff; and two sister’s-in-law, Pauline Breitenbach and Jackie Breitenbach.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; two sisters, Sister M. Judian Breitenbach and Margaret Majewski; three brothers, Sylvester Breitenbach, Brother Clarence Breitenbach, and Leo Breitenbach.
Due to the Covid-19 virus a private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial took place at Patton Cemetery.
