Kyle Logan Marshall

Kyle Logan Marshall, 37, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021. He was born on September 19, 1983, in La Porte to the late Damon Marshall who preceded him on February 17, 2021, and Vicki (Cook) Marshall of La Porte who survives. He is also survived by his children, Rune A. Marshall, and Ender R. Marshall of La Porte; the mother of his children, Ashley Wisnieski of La Porte, and his siblings,  Serena (Jason) Schmitz of Randolph, New Jersey, and Brent Marshall of La Porte, Indiana, half-brothers; Matt (Angela) Meeker of Bradenton, Florida,  and Jason Ryder of Hobart, Indiana. 

Kyle graduated La Porte High School in 2002. He was a flooring technician with J & M Flooring. Kyle loved the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was often seen sporting his “Marshall” Chicago Bears jersey. His love of sports jerseys started at a young age, and legend has it he once brought his prized collection down to the basement when the tornado sirens went off! Kyle loved disc golf, paintball, and going on adventures in the woods with his boys. Throughout the years, his eclectic taste in music was as varied as his sense of style. He enjoyed horror movies, the occult, and every single detail of Bell Gunness’ history.  His boys will say he was a great cook, with their weekly favorites; chicken tacos and chili. 

His greatest pride and joy were his two boys: Rune and Ender. This was closely matched by his love for his many nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Kyle’s life will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. Private burial will take place at Highland Cemetery, North Judson, Indiana.
