Keith "Moose" Peter Johnson

Keith Peter “Moose” Johnson, 73, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

Moose was born on July 29, 1950, in Chicago to the late Martin and Jeanette (Kroll) Johnson.

Moose worked at the Knute Rockne Plaza on the Indiana Toll Road in the maintenance department. He graduated from the class of 1971 at Rolling Prairie High School.

He is survived by siblings, Sandy Johnson of Rolling Prairie, Debbie (Duane) Johnson of Buchanan, Michigan, Mark Johnson of Union Mills, Jeff (Kim) Johnson of Saugany Lake; many nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded by a brother, Rich Johnson.

Moose loved nature and the outdoors and could be found by a bon-fire enjoying a beer and telling a story. He was a fisherman and enjoyed mushroom hunting. He loved music and attending concerts. He was a friend to many.

A Celebration of Life will be announced.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte.
