Julius Bauer

Julius Bauer November 3, 1933 - March 27, 2024 Julius was born November 3, 1933 in South Bend, Indiana, the son of John and Helen (Masszi) Bauer.

He graduated Class of 1952 from Central High School in South Bend. He served in the Air Force from 1952 – 1960. He retired from U.S. Steel in Gary. After retiring from the Mill, he and his wife opened and operated J.I.B. Lawn and Cleaning Services.

On April 13, 1957, Julius married Ilona (Kadi) Bauer, who preceded him in death on December 12, 2014. Julius is survived by a son, Thomas (Lynsae) Bauer; a daughter, Mary (Greg) Bucy; four grandsons; seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a brother, John Bauer, and a great grandson.

Private family services and burial will be held.
