Julie Ann Muller, 59 of La Porte, Indiana passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones after a long five year battle with cancer on Thursday January 2, 2025. She was loved by all of her family, especially her aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews whom she leaves behind.
Julie was born on August 5, 1965, in La Porte to Dennis and Sally (Hilgendorf) Biege.
On October 3, 1987 Julie married Thomas C. Muller who preceded her in death on September 18, 2013.
Julie was a bank teller with La Porte Savings Bank, now Horizon Bank. She received her Associates degree from Brown Mackie College. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church. She was a collector of Hallmark ornaments, and loved Christmas. She was an avid watcher and fan of the Gilmore Girls, Golden Girls, and Rizzoli and Isles TV shows.
Surviving is a daughter, Breanna (Joel) Young of Martinsville, Indiana; a son, Zachary Thomas Muller of La Porte; two grandchildren, Collin and Amelia Young; her parents, Dennis and Sally Biege of La Porte; and a sister, Tina (Garry) Bowers of La Porte.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Monday, January 6, 2025, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 201 Bach Street, La Porte, Indiana.
Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte.
