Joseph Konfirst, Sr. 95 of La Porte, Indiana passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019. Joseph was born September 23, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Frank and Geraldine Konfirst. Joseph was a carpenter with the Carpenter’s Union in Chicago. He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII.

Joseph leaves behind a daughter, Judy Burham of Chesterton, Indiana; a son, Joseph (Emilie) Konfirst, Jr. of La Porte, Indiana; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Private entombment will take place at All Saints Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum in Des Plaines, Illinois. Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
