Jean Frances (Jasinowski) Sharrow
Obituary
Jean Francis Sharrow, age 82, died on April 10, 2023. She was born January 5,1941 in LaPorte, Indiana to the late Bruno Jasinowski and Estelle J (Reznick). Jean attended LaPorte High School and graduated from LaPorte Business School.
On June 10, 1960, she married Arnold N. Sharrow who preceded her in death on February 15, 2001. Jean is survived by her daughters Michelle (Keith) Velleux of Bay City, MI and Dawnan (Corey) Hopkins of Bennington, NE. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Alexander Horvath, Andrew Horvath, Tyler Velleux, Lauren Velleux, Anthony Velleux, Eleanor Hopkins and Genevieve Hopkins; sister Karen (Jimmy) Bridges of Wentzville, MO; brothers Jerry (Isabel) Jasinowski of Washington, DC and Scott (Karen) Carlson, of LaPorte; in addition to eight nieces and nephews.
Jean was employed for many years as a bookkeeper at Michigan City Yacht Club and Michigan City Tool & Die. Jean was a longtime member of St. Paul Episcopal Church.
There will not be any services. Arrangements have be entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte, Indiana.
