Janet Sue (Blake) Messman

Janet Sue Messman, 67, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Monday, June 24, 2019.

Janet was born January 15, 1952 in Roodhouse, Illinois to Gilbert and Alice (Andrews) Blake.

On August 15, 1987, Janet married John Messman who survives.

Janet is also survived by a daughter, Carrie Ann Luben of New Buffalo, Michigan; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Janet and her husband were self-employed general contractors.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2019 at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the funeral home.  Family and friends may visit one-hour prior from 9-10 a.m. in the funeral home.  Pastor Bob Vale will officiate.  Burial will follow in Patton Cemetery.
