George Charles McClellan

George Charles McClellan, 64, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

He was born on May 28, 1961, in Bloomington, Illinois, to the late Glenn and Gladys (Stephenson) McClellan.

George is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Sherry McClellan of La Porte; and his siblings, Mary Kasdegard, Rose McClellan, and Frank McClellan, all of Bloomington, Illinois, and Richard McClellan of Portland, Oregon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, William, Scott, John, and Alice McClellan.

An automotive mechanic by trade, George took great pride in his work and had a lifelong love for working on cars. Known for his kind heart and generous spirit, he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, in La Porte.
