Gary Lowell Sims

Gary L Sims, passed away on December 26, 2021, at Aperion Care Demotte, Indiana.  

Gary was born in La Porte, Indiana on August 25, 1947, to the late Lowell and Ada (Gemberling) Sims. 

Gary is survived by his sister, Shirley (Ronald) Goodwin of Wanatah, Indiana; sister-in-law, Carole Sims, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Larry Sims and Gerald Sims. 

Gary proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. 

Gary worked in the La Porte Area most of his life. Gary loved riding his Harley Davidson motor cycle and spending time with friends and family. 

He will be dearly missed.  

Cremation has taken place. Burial will be at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
