Frank Henry Novy

Mr. Frank Henry Novy, 71, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at La Porte Hospital, following a brief illness.

Frank was born September 7, 1948 in La Porte, Indiana to Frank E. and Victoria H. (Kroczka) Novy.

Mr. Novy attended St. Peter Catholic Church.  He was a graduate of Rolling Prairie High School, University of Notre Dame and University of Arizona.  He worked as a mechanical engineer for Bendix and Kendall Medical Corp for several years.  He served in the Army National Guard and was a former member of the Cavaliers Band.

Frank leaves behind his sister, Carolyn Gring; many nieces and nephews including, Randy (Beth) Rudecki, Karen Rudecki, Mary (Rudecki) Macigewski, Vicky (Rudecki) Krohn, Michael (Susan) Rudecki, Robert (Sherree) Rudecki, Connie (Gring) Ransom, and Laura (Gring) Smith; and many great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Evelyn Rudecki and a nephew Richard Rudecki.

Visitation will be from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2020 at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 Bach Street, La Porte, Indiana.  Reverend Ian Williams will officiate.  Burial will follow in Pine Lake Cemetery.
