Frances M. (Grott) Muller

Frances M. Muller, 94, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 12, 2026. Frances was born on January 3, 1932, in Union Mills to Lawrence and Cecilia Grott, who preceded her in death.

She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Peter (Christine) Muller of La Porte, Paul (Cindi) Muller of La Porte, Frank L. (Debi Wease) Muller of La Porte; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her brother, Norman (Gerri) Grott of Union Mills.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank J. Muller; her children, Jim Muller, Joan Kramer, and Tom Muller; and her siblings, Susan Bishop, John Grott, Albert Grott, Larry Grott and Dick Grott.

Frances devoted her life to her family as a farmer's wife and homemaker. She also worked at Essling Funeral Home, where she formed many lasting friendships. She enjoyed sewing and gardening and found great joy in caring for her home and family. Frances was a faithful member of Holy Family Parish, St. Peter Church in La Porte.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. Family and friends are invited to visit one hour prior to the service, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.
