Eva Marie (Klatt) Risner

Eva Marie Risner, 90, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2026. She was born on December 5, 1935, to the late Herman and Elsie (Hahn) Klatt.

Eva dedicated many years of service working in dental offices. She retired from Dr. Stokes DDS dental office and had previously worked at Phillips Airport in Michigan City. Earlier in her career, she was employed at Dr. Dahar DDS dental office.

Eva was married to James Risner, who preceded her in death on June 21, 2005.

She is lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Horst Klatt.

A private burial will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Wanatah, Indiana.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte.
