Eldon D. Tuttle, 73, of La Porte, Indiana passed away peacefully at home after a battle with cancer on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.
Eldon was born April 25, 1947 in South Bend, Indiana to Howard and Zella (Eagle) Tuttle.
On January 31, 1975 Eldon married Louise Picatto who survives.
Eldon retired in 2008 from New York Blower after 38 years of service where he was a machinist. He served his country in the United States Army and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Eldon is survived by his wife, Louise; a daughter, Ann (Jason) Higley of Walkerton, Indiana; a son, Jason (Hollie) Tuttle of La Porte, Indiana; five grandchildren, Jake and Lizzie Tuttle, Keeley, Taylor, and Logan Higley; a sister, Lee Ann Frost of La Porte, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2020 at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. with Deacon Chris Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton, Indiana. Please observe social distancing while attending services.
