Diana Marie (Burdick) Kabacinski

Diana Marie "Burdick" Kabacinski, 84, of La Porte, Indiana passed away August 13, 2023, at Settlers Place in La Porte. She was born February 6, 1939, to Ignace Burdick and Mildred (Ostrowski) Burdick in Michigan City. 

She married Donald J. Kabacinski on October 5, 1957, who preceded her in death on August 8, 2022.

She is survived by her children, Juli (Richard) Gourley, Donna Parker, Lori (Michael) Williams, Steven (Mary) Kabacinski, James (Karen) Kabacinski, Michael Kabacinski and Mark (Shari) Kabacinski, all of La Porte; 14 grandchildren, Scott Gourley, Donald Gourley, Marcy Heimbuch, Paul Kabacinski, Daniel Kabacinski, Jacob Parker, Keegan Parker, Craig Noakes, Grant Noakes, Alexis Matheny, Olivia Banks, Kyle Kabacinski, Zachary Kabacinski, and Zane Kabacinski; and nine great-grandchildren.

Diana was a homemaker, and a member of Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church. She loved flowers, gardening, bingo, and making puzzles.

Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2023, at Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 201 Bach Street, La Porte, Indiana. Family and friends may gather at 9 a.m. on Monday in the funeral home.
