Dennis Proud

Dennis Proud, 59 of La Porte, Indiana passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

He was born June 7, 1966 in La Porte to the late John Proud Sr. and Alice (Schultz) Proud.

Dennis was a Pressman with the former La Porte Herald Argus for 22 years.

Surviving is his brother, John Proud Jr of South Bend; and a nephew, Jacob Proud.

Dennis will be buried at Patton Cemetery with his parents.

He was an all around good-guy and cared about people.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte.
