Dennis A. Niendorf

Dennis A. Niendorf, 50, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away peacefully with his wife and aunt Catherine by his side on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

He was born on August 21, 1975, in La Porte, to the late Louis and Nancy (Satkoski) Niendorf. Dennis married Vicki Sizemore on May 3, 2019, she survives.

Dennis graduated from La Porte High School in the class of 1993. Dennis spent many years working in construction with Malstaff Enterprises of La Porte. He also shared his time and talents with Sims Meat Processing, The Bottle Shop, and Sprague Devices.

Dennis had a deep love for his dogs, Bailey and Niko, who were truly dear to his heart. He loved classic rock. He held a lifelong interest in aviation and enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, especially while watching his favorite cooking shows. Dennis appreciated lock sport, and he found great fulfillment in giving back to the community through his volunteer work at the La Porte Animal Shelter. He also enjoyed playing golf and had a special fondness for anything related to firefighting. Dennis was a White Sox fan. He was interested in Horology and owned many beautiful watches and clocks.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph Church, 109 C Street, La Porte, Indiana. Family and friends may gather beginning at 10 AM on Monday at the funeral home prior to the Mass.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in La Porte.

Visitation will be held from 3 PM to 6 PM on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to La Porte County Animal Control and The Jane Bernard Animal Adoption Center, 2855 IN-2, La Porte, Indiana 46350, or to the Scipio Township Volunteer Fire Department, 1105 W. 250 South, La Porte, Indiana 46350.
