Deborah A. (Wilson) Dow

Deborah A. Dow, age 69, of Union Mills, Indiana, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026. She was born on November 6, 1956, in Michigan City to the late Nathaniel and Orma (Britton) Wilson.

Deborah devoted her life to her family as a loving homemaker and was a faithful member of the former Galena Baptist Church.

On June 29, 1987, Deborah Wilson married Richard Dow. Together they shared many years of marriage and family life. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Richard; their children, April (Andrew) Mohlke of Wanatah and Richard (Adrienne) Dow of Westville; her cherished grandchildren, Max, Tom, Jake, and Lauren; and her sisters, Lillie McCullough of New Carlisle, Violet (James) Verville of La Porte, Rosemary (Ron) Bauer of Rolling Prairie, and Emma (Bruce) Resteau of Chesterton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved daughter, Orma Dow; and her brothers, Nathaniel Wilson and John Patton.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.

A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Denny Smith officiating.
