David Larson

David Larson, 72, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019.

David was born March 5, 1946 in Michigan City, Indiana to Orlie and Minnie (Wondergem) Larson.

On June 11, 1966 in La Porte, Indiana David married Susan Nichols who survives.

David was employed with Whirpool for 34 years in machine repair. He also worked for 10 years for the La Porte City Park Department. He was in the Army Reserves from 1965-1971 and graduated from South Western Michigan College.  David loved his children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed working on classic cars, listening to classic rock music, socializing and drinking adult beverages in the garage with his friends. 

David is survived by his wife, Susi; two daughters, Staci Reuer and Lori Stimley both of La Porte, Indiana; five grandchildren; Cody Reuer, Ellen Hough, Emma Foglesong, Anna Foglesong, and Greta Foglesong; a brother, Erv (Karen) Larson of Buchannan, Michigan; a niece; and three nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jean (George) Skinner and a brother, Joel (Linda) Larson.

Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana, where a memorial service will begin at 2 p.m.  Pastor Ronald Brauer is officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Niagara Falls, New York.
