Connie Beth (Henoch) Parsell, 81 passed away Monday, April 20, 2026 with her loving family by her side. Connie was born December 11, 1944 in Portland, Oregon to Robert and Beth (McIlraith) Henoch.
On November 30, 1963 she married her high school sweetheart, David H. Parsell, who survives with her loving sons, Steven R. (Deborah) Parsell of Indianapolis, and Scott D. Parsell also of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Gabrielle Elizabeth Parsell and James Parsell; brothers, Fred and Dan Henoch and loving sister, Polly (Gene) Lile. Connie is also survived by her other “sister”, (sister-in-law) Mary Parsell Gust and her husband William Gust who was like her 3rd “brother.” She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families.
Connie always enjoyed being a mother and grandmother-her family was the center of her life. She worked for a number of years for La Porte Community Schools.
She was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph Church and also attended Sacred Heart Church. Connie and Dave loved sports and always followed various LPHS teams and many college and pro teams, especially the Cubs. They were also avid travelers, with a special fondness for cruising.
Visitation will be held from 3 - 7 PM Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana where a Parish Vigil will be at 6:45 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11 AM Monday, April 27, 2026 at Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph Church, 109 C. Street, La Porte, Indiana.
Family and friends may gather at 10 AM Monday in the Funeral Home prior to the Mass.
Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the LPHS Athletic Department or the Cancer Society.
