Billie Marie (McCoy) Ash

Billie Marie Ash, 80, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Monday, May 22, 2023.

Billie was born October 3, 1942, in Regina, Kentucky to Samuel and Lora (Blackburn) McCoy. She had worked at American Home Foods and Federal Mogul. 

On July 1, 1967, in La Porte, Billie married Vernal “Butch” Ash who preceded her in death on August 17, 2000.

Billie is survived by her son, Ronald (Terrie) Ash of La Porte, Indiana; grandchildren; Haley Ash, and Mike Ash; siblings, Randall (Vickie) McCoy of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, George (Diane) McCoy of La Porte, Dannie (Kelly Shaw) McCoy of Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, Sonny McCoy of Fish Lake, and Jerry (Diana) McCoy of Mill Creek. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Butch; son, Gregory; and siblings, Fred and Mike McCoy.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 12 noon in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Patton Cemetery.
