Vivian Elaine (Schmidt) Bond

Vivian Elaine Bond, 88, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Monday, May 14, 2018.  She was born May 19, 1929, in Chicago to Ernest Schmidt and Bluma Jones.  On March 8, 1950, Vivian married Harold “Bud” Bond who survives.  Also surviving are her children, Marilyn Hartman of Rensselaer, Indiana, Christine (Richard) Dusk of Belleville, Wisconsin, Nancy (James) Snyder of La Porte, Eric Bond of La Porte; grandchildren, Carissa Hosea, James Hartman, Angela Brunton, Erin Goodrich, Kelly Buell, Kathryn Tigerstrom, and Kristin Lowery; and great grandchildren, Chloe, Braden, Jessica, Colin, Vincent, Alexander, Benjamin, Lexus, Chase, Dexter, and Haleigh.  Vivian was preceded in death by a sister and brother. 

A celebration of life will be held on May 27, 2018.  A time and place will be announced.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the St. Labre Indian School in Ashland, Montana.
