Virginia Belle (Bledsoe) Belzowski

Virginia Belle Belzowski, 92, of Kingsbury, Indiana passed away Friday, April 21, 2017, at Franciscan St. Anthony Hospice in Michigan City, Indiana.

Virginia was the daughter of the late Elmer and Kate (Goodman) Bledsoe, who was born June 12, 1924, in Cass, Indiana.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thaddeus (Ted); her son, Steven Belzowski; great grandsons, Cohen & Brody Pavey; sisters, Dolores Ashcraft, Doris Reynolds; and a brother, James Bledsoe.

Virginia was a secretary-clerk with Kingsbury School for 16 years.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Kingsbury and a 1942 Union High School graduate. 

Virginia leaves many loving memories to be cherished by her sons, Tom (Reggie) Belzowski of La Porte, Jim (Earlene) Belzowski of La Porte; daughter-in-law, Michele Belzowski of La Porte; grandchildren, Sara (John) Horvath, Janice (Mike) Lombardo, Keith (Holly) Belzowski, Cassie (Byron) Pavey, & Derek Belzowski; great grandchildren, Jude & Jonah Belzowski, Harrison, Maxwell, & Crosby Horvath, Brandon, Hayden, & Aubrey Pavey, and Gavin Belzowski; and two special nieces, Vicki Stahl & Sue Deckard and families.

Virginia enjoyed cooking, reading, and watching the Chicago Bears, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and going out to eat.  She was loved greatly and forever and will be missed.

Visitation will be from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.  Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. following the visitation, with Pastor Tim Williams officiating.  Burial will take place in Kingsbury Cemetery.
